Accessible PDF test

SiteMorse have recently started testing PDF files on the web for accessiblity. A recent survey of local government web sites showed that 77% of the PDF files failed the test. I am surprised by this result as I was expecting it to be much closer to 95% as I have rarely found an accessible PDF file on the web.

I will investigate further to find some good examples of PDF accessiblity and how they were created.

Hopefully Version 8 of Adobe Acrobat should make their creation easier.
