The Delphix Dynamic Data Platform is a platform for data virtualisation. It is used to create virtual copies of the data (or some of the data) contained within your corporate databases for use in application development, testing, cloud migration, back-up and recovery, analytics, machine learning, and other similar scenarios. Virtual copies of existing data sources are created for these purposes. This is complemented by built-in data masking capabilities, which allow for the masking of sensitive data in these virtual environments. Together, data virtualisation and data masking provide a test data management solution that does not (necessarily) involve either data subsetting or synthetic data generation.
