Sybase Analytical Appliance

The Sybase Analytic Appliance is a pre-packaged, pre-installed hardware and software combination aimed at the data warehousing market. It combines hardware and an operating system from IBM with various software products from Sybase (most notably its Sybase IQ database) and, optionally, business intelligence capability from MicroStrategy. A notable fact is that all of these elements are administered from a single management console.
The actual implementation of all these elements into the appliance is being accomplished by a systems integrator, which will also provide first line support for all Sybase Analytic Appliance users. In the United States this partner is MLogica and, at the time of writing, Sybase is looking for similar partners in other geographies.
