Proactive response - Improving efficiency and effectiveness with a security incident response platform

In an era when security incidents and data breaches are everyday news, organisations are struggling to keep up their defences. The only answer is to switch from a reactive security stance to one that is proactive, actively searching out threats and responding in a timely manner. However, many are struggling with recruiting and retaining skilled security professionals and could therefore do with a helping hand in terms of automating many of the processes involved in incident detection and response.
A combination of a SIEM system and an incident response platform will help to take away much of the pain of dealing with security incidents and will enable an organisation to make great strides towards achieving cyber resilience whereby they are more effectively able to respond to and recover from incidents that occur in order to resume normal business operations as quickly and efficiently as possible.
