Application Services Providers (ASPs) deliver applications or application components to users across a network. The network may be private or public, the applications may be unique to the customer, proprietary to the supplier or shrink-wrapped, and the scope of service may be a complete outsourcing of IT or just specific functions. In other words, there is little in Information Technology that will not be affected by ASPs
