Brother Industries Ltd was founded in 1934. It offers products and services in a wide range of fields such as communications and printing equipment, home sewing machines, industrial sewing machines/machine tools, and online karaoke/content-delivery systems, and reducers/gears. The Brother group delivers products and services to customers all over the world with 17 production sites and 52 sales sites in 44 countries and regions of the world. The company’s new business areas are Scanners, Web Conferencing System and See-through Type Head-mounted Display.
The UK arm, Brother UK, was founded in 1968 and is located in Greater Manchester. The UK company supplies and supports the entire range of technology products and services to UK Customers.
In 2007, Brother introduced the RL-700S which added Radio Frequency Identification tags to the company’s label range.
