QPR announce another SI relationship

QPR Software and Tieto, the largest Nordic IT services company providing full life-cycle services for both private and public sectors, have signed a cooperation agreement, which aims to offer customers business-driven enterprise architecture services. As part of the agreement, QPR provides Tieto QPR EnterpriseArchitect software and the inclusive methodology for business-driven enterprise architecture.

Tieto was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland with approximately 14,000 experts. It has global presence through its product development business and the delivery centers, operating in approximately 20 countries with net sales at approximately EUR 1.6 billion. Ari Hirvonen, Consultant, Head of Enterprise Architecture Consulting at Tieto, stated, ”As a major enterprise architecture player, it is important for us to use the best possible methods and tools for the benefit of our customers. And considering QPR’s strong position in the Finnish enterprise architecture market, it was a natural move for us to join forces. In addition, this step supports also the development of our service portfolio for increased competitive edge”,

QPR’s business-driven enterprise architecture offering comprises of QPR EnterpriseArchitect software, a business-driven enterprise architecture methodology (QPR Operational Development Model) developed by QPR and an extensive selection of services. The software offers a combined design and collaboration environment, where all enterprise architecture dimensions, from business to IT systems, can be effectively modeled and communicated to stakeholders.

The methodology, developed by QPR, is a practical way to look at different entities within organisations. It gives a way of developing operations as a whole and understanding business dependencies in order to reach improved performance and business benefits. The offering is completed with services through which QPR’s experts build the development capability at the customer, analyse the enterprise architecture and model the ’as-is’ status as well as the objective. All work is done based on strategy giving a clear guideline for enterprise architecture work.
