This remote working paper is aimed at managers of automated businesses, who need effective, resilient, teams in order to manage business continuity in the “new normal”. But it is also aimed at the members of these teams, who can change team dynamics bottom up. These are all people who realise that to deliver effective teams they will need to deal with people holistically, as personalities, not as “units of work”; and that flatter organisational structures (see the ideas of General Stanley McChrystal) will become the norm.
