Building and maintaining a data warehouse is a manual process, and data warehouses struggle to adapt to schema changes, which have a ripple effect from extract through to reporting. Yotilla defines a data warehouse and its dataflows in a high-level conceptual model, automating the physical database creation and much of the process. In particular this dramatically reduces the effort in making changes to an existing data warehouse.
