XDR (Extended Detection and Response) provides a cohesive security platform that provides deep visibility into the extended network, helping organisations to detect threats and incidents from wherever they come, internal or external, and whatever part of the network environment is impacted. SIEM is still seen as a foundational security tool for many organisations and, in combination with XDR, its effectiveness will be increased yet further.
