Entuity Software™ from Park Place Technologies
Bloor - Award Badge 2026 PLATINUM

Entuity Software from Park Place Technologies is an enterprise network and infrastructure monitoring software platform. It has been developed and refined over roughly two decades. In 2019, Entuity was acquired by Park Place Technologies, a global provider of data center hardware maintenance, as the company’s first acquisition outside of third-party maintenance services. That acquisition was strategic: it let Park Place pair its existing hardware maintenance and support business, delivered through its ParkView Automated Support™ service, with Entuity’s software-based visibility into how networks and infrastructure are actually performing. Today, Entuity operates as Park Place Technologies’ network and infrastructure monitoring product line, but maintains a distinct and separate identity with the Entuity brand to the fore.

At its core, Entuity is a vendor-agnostic monitoring and visualization platform. “Vendor-agnostic” is an important distinction, as most enterprise networks are not built entirely on equipment from a single manufacturer. A typical organization might run Cisco switches, Palo Alto or Juniper firewalls, Arista or HP networking gear, Meraki access points, VMware or Hyper-V virtualization, and workloads spread across AWS and Azure. Entuity is designed to discover, monitor, and visualize all of it from a single interface, rather than requiring separate tools for each vendor’s ecosystem.

Entuity Software is an integrated platform that eliminates the need for multiple point products, reducing complexity and lowering the total cost of ownership.  It has a federated architecture that allows for seamless expansion, accommodating networks of varying sizes without compromising performance. We reviewed Version 22.0 in 2025, which included a wide range of functions and capabilities, the summary of which we have retained below.

  • Automated Network Discovery continuously identifies and adds new devices to the network management system, ensuring an up-to-date inventory of network assets. Dynamic Network Topology Mapping provides comprehensive visibility of the network’s structure, both locally and globally, allowing users to drill down into individual devices and ports to identify issues.
  • Advanced Event Management organizes network alerts into higher-level incidents, reducing event noise by up to 99% and enabling IT teams to focus on critical issues.
  • Performance Monitoring and Asset Utilization delivers key metrics on asset utilization, helping identify over- and under-utilized resources to inform purchasing decisions based on actual network requirements.
  • Configuration Monitoring and Management keeps track of configuration changes across devices, ensuring compliance and facilitating quick identification of unauthorized modifications.
  • Flow Analysis and Application Path Monitoring offers detailed analysis of network traffic patterns and application paths, enabling the identification of bottlenecks that could affect performance.  It provides very wide-ranging.
  • Multi-Vendor Support. This includes out-of-the-box support for thousands of devices from hundreds of vendors ensuring compatibility across diverse network environments.
  • Intelligent Automation, in particular automated discovery and configuration, reduces manual intervention, increasing staff productivity and efficiency.
  • A range of Customizable Dashboards and Reports provide tailored insights that enhance decision-making processes.

IIn February 2026, Park Place Technologies released Entuity V23.0, described as a major update that expands the platform’s agent architecture, local OS polling, streaming telemetry, and configuration management. Existing customers with active maintenance contracts can upgrade at no additional cost. We have summarised the significant additions below.

A new remote agent architecture introduces a lightweight, remote polling agent that IT teams and MSPs can deploy to remote sites, end-customer offices, and home offices – extending monitoring beyond the traditional network perimeter to servers, storage, and OS environments in locations where running a full monitoring stack has historically been impractical. Agents connect back to the central Entuity server securely and are managed centrally through Entuity’s web-based administration pages, where administrators can check agent status, see installed applications and versions, and push permitted changes.

Local agent (host) monitoring removes the requirement for the central Entuity server to hold administrator or root credentials for every monitored server. The new agent can poll the local host’s operating system directly from the host itself. This is aimed squarely at a common objection to monitoring platforms – that they represent a security risk by needing broad administrative access – and lets organizations monitor Linux and Windows servers more securely, including across segregated network environments, without storing elevated credentials centrally.

In V23.0, Streaming telemetry now incorporates the widely used Telegraf agent from InfluxData, opening the platform up to monitoring hundreds of additional system and asset types beyond what it already supported. The framework is designed to extend easily to other Telegraf modules going forward.

Configuration management improvements now enable users to set parameters for scheduled tasks, and the release brings a more organized, user-friendly interface intended to improve overall performance and scalability of configuration workflows.

Extended device support broadens the range of supported servers, storage, and network devices, aimed at giving customers more complete out-of-the-box coverage of their infrastructure. Crucially, in the age of rapid AI infrastructure deployments, this includes the monitoring and support of Nvidia, AMD, and Intel GPUs.

Entuity Software also provides multi-tenancy functionality. This enables MSPs to monitor multiple customer networks from a single installation, with data segregation ensuring clients view only their specific information to monitor multiple customer networks from a single installation, with data segregation ensuring clients view only their specific information.

However, Entuity Software is more than just a traditional network management solution. While its core focus is on managing and monitoring network infrastructure, it offers additional features that extend its value beyond basic network oversight. Here’s why Entuity Software is more than just a network management solution:

It doesn’t just monitor networks in isolation – it connects network performance directly to the delivery of business services via its SurePath solution. By modelling network, server and storage resources in the context of the services they support, it helps IT teams ensure that network operations align with and enable broader business objectives. This makes it a strategic tool for organizations looking to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Entuity Software provides detailed, customizable analytics and reporting tools. These go beyond operational metrics to deliver insights into resource usage, performance trends, and future capacity planning. This capability allows businesses to optimize their infrastructure and make informed decisions about growth and investment.

Unlike solutions that are limited to specific vendors, Entuity Software supports a wide range of network devices, servers and storage from hundreds of manufacturers. It also provides comprehensive visibility into hybrid environments that include both on-premises and public cloud resources. This capability makes Entuity a comprehensive tool for modern, diverse IT ecosystems.

Entuity Software is not a network security solution. But it does have functionality that helps organizations ensure that their network devices comply with security and regulatory requirements. It also tracks configuration changes and detects unauthorized modifications, helping IT teams maintain control over their network environments and meet audit requirements.

Its network traffic and application path monitoring functionality offers granular insights into network traffic patterns and application paths. This helps businesses identify bottlenecks and optimize the delivery of applications and services, which is crucial for organizations relying on high-performing applications.

In today’s interconnected, and increasingly AI focused world, businesses rely heavily on their IT infrastructure to function efficiently. A robust and reliable network and data center environment is the backbone of any organization, and ensuring its optimal performance is crucial. This is where Entuity Software comes into play. It offers a comprehensive suite of features designed to provide IT teams with the visibility and control they need to proactively manage their networks, servers and storage, prevent downtime, and optimize performance.

Its advanced discovery engine automatically identifies and maps all network devices, including routers, switches, servers, firewalls, and virtual machines, regardless of vendor. With the Automated Network Discovery software feature, you’ll be able to rapidly discover, add, and configure these devices to your network management system.

This provides IT teams with a complete and up-to-date inventory of their network assets. The dynamic topology maps offer a visual representation of the network infrastructure, making it easy to understand the relationships between devices and applications, and identify potential bottlenecks or points of failure.

Today’s network and data center environments are dynamic, with physical and virtual IT assets inside and outside the enterprise. Entuity Software allows you to rapidly adapt to changing requirements and advancing technology.

Entuity Software is more than just a network management solution – it is a strategic IT operations platform. By combining network monitoring with advanced analytics, automation, business service alignment, and multi-environment support, it empowers organizations to optimize performance, align IT operations with business goals, and drive operational efficiency. It helps IT teams shift from reactive to proactive management. Its advanced event management and comprehensive analytics detect potential issues before they escalate, helping IT operations teams to reduce downtime and improve user experiences.

Whether for enterprises or MSPs, we believe that Entuity Software provides the tools needed to stay ahead in a dynamic IT landscape.
