Talend Data Management Platform

Talend is an open source provider of data management products that encompass data integration, data quality and master data management as well as supporting tools. While each of the company’s offerings is available independently they are all based around a unified platform that provides a common user interface (based on Eclipse) at the frontend, a single repository at the back-end, and a common deployment, execution and monitoring environment.

Historically, the company’s flagship product has been Talend Open Studio. This is also available as the core component within Talend On Demand, which is the company’s software as a service (SaaS) offering; and the Talend Integration Suite, which is a bundled product and services offering that includes additional software capabilities for multi-developer environments and to provide high performance deployment options, including scheduling. With the addition of data quality and master data management Talend now offers a complete data management platform.
