Data warehousing technologies are evolving all around us, providing new capabilities. Location capabilities are increasingly being incorporated into this technology and the nature of business can be particularly dependent and influenced by location.

In the past, location information was managed separately by geographic information systems (GIS). Now location or the position on the earth's surface-can be incorporated into, or attached to, the data warehouse and the inclusion of where queries exponentially increases the power of your decision support information.

Enhancing data by adding location to your information will add real value to your business intelligence and provide the answer to Where is the Business?
