Hyperion System 9 Planning is, as its name suggests, a planning application, which supports budgeting, forecasting and central control of any financial and operational planning that may take place across the enterprise. It is not limited to finance and Hyperion is actively supporting the extension of planning to non-financial departments. In particular, the company offers Hyperion System 9 Workforce Planning as an application that handles workforce, salary and compensation planning to augment the facilities provided by the Planning module.
