Spreadsheet Governance, Risk and Compliance

It is nearly three years since we last published a report into the status of the spreadsheet management market. Since then there has been an increase in the take up of spreadsheet management solutions. However, according to a recent survey published by Information Age, some 52.3% of companies still use financial processes that are wholly or partly dependent on the use of spreadsheets. Moreover, spreadsheets are widely used within other areas of the business, especially in banks, insurance companies, and energy and utility companies, to name just a few. So spreadsheet management remains a hot topic.
