It focuses on making identity management services as easy and intuitive to use as possible, stating that its mission is to achieve "identity for the masses". Among its differentiators are its governance and compliance capabilities, unified policy management, customer support and widespread standards support.
Among its capabilities is a specialised focus on the education market, including support for specific standards. It focuses on the mid-market, but can scale to support large enterprises. At this point, however, Fischer remains a small company with limited direct international presence, although it maintains a strong partner network.
