We are in the process of updating our websites to conform with UK legislation under the Disability Rights Commission (DRC).
We try to ensure that all our pages are compliant with the W3 HTML and CSS specification.
This can be difficult with content being posted from many different sources, but we'll try our best.
Anti-SPAM Measures
Sadly CAPTCHAs have to remain until we can find a better way to prevent SPAM.
We have recently removed the inaccessible security images, and have replaced them with simple text questions - such as the sum of two numbers.
Validation
Our form validation routine not only lists incomplete fields, but also highlights the missed field using colours.
Tab-Indexing
We have implemented tab indexes so that you can tab between form fields in a logical order.
We have implemented a font-resizing control which allows you to increase / decrease the size of the default font. We use a cookie to persist this across multiple sessions.
We are experimenting with alternate stylesheets, offering different ways to view our website. Suggestions welcome.
If you have any problems or suggestions, please do not hesitate to report an accessibility issue.
