Gerry has over 25 years of experience in the software and services industry. He has worked in senior marketing and sales management positions for Xerox and Fujitsu Services, and was Marketing Director at Hyperion Solutions and at MicroStrategy.
Gerry is also a visiting Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) lecturer for the Cambridge Professional Academy, the London School of Marketing, and The Marketers Forum. He lectures rising star post-graduates in marketing strategy. Current subjects taught include Marketing Leadership and Planning, Managing Corporate Reputation, Analysis and Decision, and Emerging Themes (Trends). Gerry specialises in B2B marketing strategies advice for technology vendors.
Gerry has been an analyst for Bloor Research for 6 years and regularly presents on behalf of the company at international business conferences, roundtable discussions, user group meetings, vendor seminars, and Webinars and Podcasts. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), has a DipM (the equivalent of an MA) in Marketing, and received his BA (Hons) Business Studies degree from Sheffield City University.
